U.S. has successfully implanted nerve cells into the brain to cure neurological disorders

According to the Chicago Tribune, scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States have successfully grown embryonic stem cells into neurons and found that these cells can play a role in repairing damaged nerve cells. Experiments have shown that these implanted neurons can send and receive information with other cells and become part of the brain's "machine." The results of this experiment have brought hope for the treatment of disorders of the brain and nervous system, such as Parkinson's and Lou Gehrig's disease.

For many years, scientists have been discussing the possibility of cultivating neurons in the laboratory and then using them to replace damaged brain cells, but there has been doubt about whether the implanted cells can fully function. This new research progress is expected to turn theory into reality. Scientists at the University of Wisconsin Medical School said that the implanted cells do function and that these cells are expected to play a role in neuronal repair.
