How to prevent recalcitrant nematode disease

Affected by the cultivation of vegetables, nematode disease has become a persistent pest in vegetable production. In many places, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, bitter gourds, eggplants, radishes, onions and garlic are seriously affected. How to control the damage of nematodiasis? In prevention and control, we must focus on the entire growth period of crops, create a non-toxic cultivation environment for crops, highlight comprehensive prevention and control measures, take agricultural control as the main focus, supplement chemical control, scientifically select pesticide species, and implement pollution-free prevention and control measures.

I. Agricultural measures

1. Use resistant and disease-resistant varieties. The degree of resistance, tolerance and susceptibility of nematodes to different cultivars differs significantly. According to local conditions, species with high resistance and disease resistance should be selected.

2. Deeply turn the land. The depth requirement is more than 30 cm. The insects in the topsoil are turned into deep layers to reduce the source of insects, and at the same time, adequately decomposed organic fertilizers are added.

3. Clean the pastoral. After the harvest, the diseased bodies are promptly removed, and they are brought out of the field and buried deep or burned. Do not use the diseased body to fatten it.

4. Reasonable rotation. Rotation is an effective measure to improve the soil environment, reduce the source of insects, and control the spread of nematodes. For example, greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes can be planted with summer corn.

5. The tillage layer replaces the new soil. Heavily damaged greenhouses with nematode diseases are replaced by 20-30 cm deep greenhouses.

6. Grafting cultivation. Grafted seedlings were cultivated using disease resistant rootstocks.

7. Disease-free nursery. Using soilless seedlings is one of the important ways to avoid the harm of root-knot nematodes. The conventional nursery should choose disease-free soil and disease-free organic fertilizer to prepare nutritious soil seedlings.

Second, physical control

1. Heat sterilization. The nematode lethal temperature is 55°C and takes 10 minutes. To this end, in the July and August months of leisure in greenhouses, turn the soil deeper than 30 centimeters, then pour a large amount of water, cover the surface of the soil film, the shed film closed, high temperature stuffy shed 15 to 20 days, can kill the upper soil The vast majority of nematodes.

2. Flooding insecticide. Severely ill field irrigation 10 to 15 cm deep, keep 1 to 3 months, the nematode suffocation died of hypoxia. In places where conditions permit, it can be changed to a season of protected lotus roots, which will not only kill the nematodes but also cause the fields to be deserted.

3. Quicklime disinfection. Turn over 30 centimeters first, then apply 100 kilograms of quicklime powder per acre, then cover 4 to 5 centimeters thick wheat bran, and then pour a large amount of water. After pouring the water, the shed film is sealed and the shed is 15 to 20 days.

4. Warm soup soaking. Due to the different types of vegetables, their water temperature and soaking time vary. For example, melons and solanaceous seeds are soaked in warm water at 55°C for 15-20 minutes; celery seeds are soaked in warm water at 48°C for 30 minutes; bean seeds are soaked in warm water at 45°C for 15 minutes; and onion and onion seeds are soaked in warm water at 50°C for 25 minutes; Cabbage and cauliflower seeds were soaked in warm water at 50°C for 20 minutes; pepper seeds were soaked in warm water at 55°C for 30 minutes. It can be soaked with water at room temperature for 15 minutes and then soaked in hot water. The amount of water used is 5-6 times the seed volume. Keep stirring and keep the water temperature for 10-15 minutes. Then let the water temperature drop to 30°C and soak it. The soaking time of different vegetable seeds is different, such as 6 to 7 hours for pepper, 7 to 8 hours for eggplant, 4 to 5 hours for tomato, 3 to 4 hours for cucumber, and finally the seeds are cleaned. This can not only kill most of the nematodes and eggs attached to the seeds, but also effectively kill a variety of bacterial and fungal diseases attached to the seeds. After the soaking of warm soup combined with the seed dressing measures, the effect of controlling nematode can be greatly improved.

Third, chemical prevention

The selection of high-efficiency, low-toxicity, low-residue pesticides that are allowed to be used in pollution-free production is the most direct and effective technical measure to control nematode disease. After years of field use and monitoring comparison, 10% thiazophos (Gold Ray) granules are currently an excellent pesticide species for the control of nematodiasis, it has a strong contact activity, both killing effect. It can be applied at the end, acupuncture and furrow, and has a long effective period of killing nematode in the soil. In addition to killing nematodes, the final decomposition products can synthesize indole butyrate and naphthylacetate, which has the effect of strengthening roots and sprouting seedlings. Abamectin can also be used to irrigate the roots. After the colonization, 300 ml of each liquid is collected, and 500 ml per plant is established at the initial stage of fruit set. It is forbidden to use banned pesticides such as carbofuran, aldicarb, methylisotriphos, phenoxyphosphorus, cyanophos, and sulphur-phosphorus, which are highly toxic to humans and animals, or which seriously pollute the environment.
