A new method for growing grapes in water saving

Australian scientists recently invented a simple new method of growing water for grapes. Compared with traditional irrigation methods, this new method can save half of the water consumption.
The main practice of this kind of water-saving irrigation is to place a dropper on each side of the root of the grape. Only one dropper is used for each irrigation, and only half the roots of the grape are absorbed into the water. After two to three weeks, irrigate the other side of the dropper and close the dropper on the other side.
According to Dr. Scott, only about half of the roots of grapes can be kept moist and grow normally using the above method, while the other half of the roots will reduce the amount of water absorption after dry and dry. After two or three weeks, the half of the water shortage will turn to absorb moisture on the wet side. At this time, the drip tube on the dry side has been opened for irrigation. This does not affect the normal function of the root system.
Dr. Scott said that the above simple approach works because the root system of the grape can absorb a lot of water, while the water efficiency of the grapevine is not high, and a lot of water is wasted. Experiments have shown that after the grape roots absorb water, the vines can grow normally.
