Grape pruning depends on the peculiarity of pruning. It is the key to success. Therefore, grasping the biological characteristics of various species and correcting pruning correctly are important techniques for the high yield and quality of grapes grown in the yard.
(1) The plasticity of the plastic yard in the courtyard is generally based on multi-master cranial dry type or two long dry types. The disadvantage of the dragon dry type pruning is that the fruiting rate of the mother twigs is low, and the main vines in the lower part of the vine tend to empty eyes. The output is not high. The method to overcome is to strengthen the summer pruning, strictly control the 4-5 branches of the year that are well-kept, and remove all the remaining ones to ensure that their growth and maturation are good.
(b) Pruning
1. Summer pruning: Summer pruning of garden grapes is very important. After the inflorescence appears, regardless of "twins" or "multiple fetuses", only one robust result branch or development branch is left. Weak branches, secretive buds, and dense branches are all removed. In order to increase the fruit setting rate, it is also important to harvest the tips of the branches before and after flowering, and to pick the tips of the flowers. In particular, it is more important for varieties with serious flowering and fruit drop. The picking position can be left at the leaves of 5-6 leaves, and the tip of the pick is removed from the lower third or quarter of the ear. Auxiliary tip processing is to pick up 1-2 secondary shoots at the heart and remove all the rest, and then leave the secondary shoots to leave 2-3 buds topping.
2. Winter pruning: The method of grape pruning in winter should be based on the shaping method. Long dry shaping except extension branches, all use 2-3 bud short tip trim.
