Pre-planting treatment of eight kinds of Chinese herbal medicines

Atractylodes: sowing time varies by region, from mid-October to early November, from mid-March to mid-April. Before sowing, the seeds are soaked in warm water of about 30°C for 24 hours so that the seeds will attract enough water to germinate, and sowing will be beneficial to the whole seedlings. Bellflower: Spring sowing in March, autumn sowing in early November. It is usually sowing in autumn. The seeds are moistened for about 20 days before sowing, and can be sown when the kernels are soft. For spring sowing, the moist seeds must be mixed with 3 times fine sand in outdoor for low temperature treatment to promote seed sowing, otherwise no seedlings will emerge in the year. North Adenophora: spring broadcast 3-4 months, autumn broadcast in November. Before sowing, soaking seeds with 0.3%-0.5% potassium permanganate solution for 24 hours and sowing, the germination rate can be greatly improved. Medicinal safflower: sown from mid-October to early November, and planted from mid-March to early April. Before sowing, soak in seeds with warm water of about 50°C for 10 minutes, and then put them in cold water to cool. After drying, sow, so that they can germinate early and emerge neatly. White Stork: Sow in mid-September. Before sowing, the seeds were evenly sprayed with a 2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution, and after 8 hours of sealing, the seeds were sowed. The seedling emergence rate reached above 90%, and the seedlings grew strong. Cassia seed: sowing before and after Ching Ming. Pre-sowing rhizobial seed dressing (dry mix) can generally increase production by more than 20%. Andrographis: sowing in April-May. Before sowing, the seeds are rubbed with fine sand or sandpaper, the waxy part of the seed coat is abraded, and soaked in warm water of 40°C-50°C for 24 hours. The conditions can be sowed after germination at a temperature of 20°C-30°C. Yellow flowers: sowing in spring, summer and autumn. Soak the seeds in hot water at 70°C-80°C, remove them and immerse them in cold water. Repeat several times and then soak for 10 hours until most of the seeds are inflated and sowed.
